Job Summary
This role is ideal for an ambitious Development Engineer specializing in Power Electronics, focusing primarily on hardware development and validation of electronic components. Day-to-day responsibilities include the independent development, modification, and validation of electronic components, component qualification, and assessment of alternative parts. The engineer will be responsible for comprehensive documentation (BOMs, test reports, schematics) within PDM and ticketing systems, adjusting and evaluating parameter settings in firmware, and supporting firmware releases. A significant part of the job involves practical laboratory work, including commissioning, measurements, and electronic testing of new hardware in a lab environment. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, possesses advanced knowledge of power electronics and motor control, and demonstrates strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach.
Required Skills
Education
Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or electro-technical training with further qualification as a Technician
Experience
- Professional experience in independent work within an electronics laboratory (E-Lab)
- Experience in handling electronic measuring devices and lab equipment
