Job Summary

This role as a Substation Control Systems Engineer involves ensuring the safe and smooth operation of critical infrastructure, particularly within the railway sector. Day-to-day, you will be responsible for the technical parameterization and configuration of SICAM systems for energy network automation. Key duties include planning the technical implementation of customer projects, managing system commissioning on-site, overseeing customer acceptance tests, and providing crucial troubleshooting support for malfunctions. You will also be responsible for checking system availability, reliability, and security, and clarifying deviations between specifications and offers. The ideal candidate possesses a job-specific technician qualification and several years of experience in energy supply automation, ideally within infrastructure or railway environments. Strong analytical skills, customer focus, and the ability to travel nationwide in Germany are essential to succeed in this dynamic role.
