Job Summary

This role as an Agile Developer in Berlin involves contributing to the critical IT system landscape of the German Pension Insurance (DRV Bund IT), specifically developing and maintaining software for the auditing service to ensure contribution fairness and social justice. Day-to-day tasks include creating functional requirements analyses, implementing and ensuring the functionality of medium-complexity application software, participating in quality assurance, and continuously improving the agile development process. You will also advise specialist departments on new user requirements. Candidates must possess a university degree in IT or equivalent, coupled with several years of practical software development experience. Essential technical skills include very good proficiency in Java, Maven, and WLS, alongside knowledge of front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and Javascript, and version control tools (Git, BitBucket). The position requires strong teamwork, customer orientation, and fluent German skills, operating within a team that values commitment, focus, and respect.

Education

Successfully completed University degree (Bachelor or FH Diploma) in IT, comparable qualification, or completed professional IT training.

Experience
