Job Summary

This permanent, full-time position seeks an Electrical Design Engineer to contribute to sophisticated machinery and plant construction projects in Hannover. The core responsibilities include creating detailed circuit and wiring diagrams, generating parts lists using EPLAN Electric P8, and planning and dimensioning electrical components for complex systems. You will also participate in developing and implementing automation and control solutions, ensuring technical documentation adheres to relevant norms and guidelines. Success in this role requires strong technical coordination skills to liaise effectively with internal departments, external suppliers, and clients. Candidates must hold a qualification as a state-certified Electrical Engineering Technician or a degree in Electrical or Automation Technology, coupled with excellent EPLAN Electric P8 proficiency and practical experience in electrical design, ideally within the machine or plant construction sector. The role offers significant creative freedom, flexible working models, and a modern, international technical environment, though it requires approximately 20–30% travel.
