Job Summary

This part-time, permanent position seeks a highly experienced Medical Technical Laboratory Assistant (MTLA) to lead the laboratory team at a specialized center for orthopedics and hand surgery. The Laboratory Lead will be responsible for managing the team, ensuring continuous staff training and development, and overseeing the technical validation and monitoring of laboratory tests across Clinical Chemistry, Immunohematology, Hematology, and Hemostaseology. Key responsibilities also include enforcing quality standards, organizing workflows, managing work schedules, and participating in shift work, including weekends, public holidays, and on-call duty. The ideal candidate must possess extensive clinical laboratory experience, strong leadership skills (desirable), excellent communication, high initiative, and proficiency with standard IT and EDP systems. This role offers an attractive, performance-based salary according to the company collective agreement, along with holiday and Christmas bonuses.
