Job Summary

The BOREAS Energietechnik GmbH is seeking a dedicated Service Technician specializing in Wind Energy and Photovoltaics to join their Technical Field Service team in Herbsleben. This role is crucial for ensuring the operational readiness and economic viability of renewable energy assets. Day-to-day responsibilities include regular inspections of wind turbines, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across wind farms, PV plants, substations, and transformer stations, including components up to 110 kV. The technician will also be involved in setting up communication infrastructures and performing maintenance and recurring inspections. The ideal candidate has a completed electrical engineering qualification (e.g., Electrician, Electronics Technician for Energy Technology, Mechatronics) and is enthusiastic about sustainable technologies. The position requires physical fitness, willingness to travel (approx. 25%), and occasional weekend on-call duty, offering an unlimited contract in a future-oriented industry.
