Job Summary

This Project Associate role is a crucial part-time (20 hours/week) position supporting the federal "Integration through Qualification (IQ)" program in Frankfurt am Main, focusing specifically on qualifying international professionals for the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) sector. The associate will be responsible for building and maintaining professional networks, actively recruiting participants, and conducting specialized technical research. Day-to-day duties include the planning, organization, and delivery of training sessions and providing essential career guidance and consulting to participants within the EMS field. Key qualifications include a university degree or vocational training in the health, EMS, or social sector, coupled with proven professional experience in organizing and delivering adult education. Strong written German skills, MS Office proficiency, and high levels of intercultural competence are mandatory for successful documentation and team collaboration within this mission-driven, non-profit organization. The role offers independent work, a collegial environment, and the potential for a permanent contract after the initial two-year fixed term.

Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree (Applied Sciences/Higher Education) and/or vocational training in the health, emergency medical services, or social sector, or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in organizing and conducting training and courses for adults (experience in the healthcare sector is advantageous)
