Job Summary
This role involves the installation, maintenance, and servicing of audio/media systems (such as Crestron) and Building Management Systems (BMS) from vendors like Siemens and Honeywell, specifically within the facilities department of the Middle Franconia Police Headquarters. The officer will work closely with specialized trades and external partners, requiring significant field service activity across Middle Franconia. Key qualifications include a vocational degree in electronics (Energy and Building Technology, Building System Integration, or Information Electronics) and knowledge of relevant industry standards (VDE, DIN, DGUV). This is a full-time, initially temporary position with the potential for permanent civil servant status (Beamtenverhältnis), offering the stability and benefits of public service in Nuremberg.
Required Skills
Education
Vocational training as an Electrician for Energy and Building Technology, Building System Integration, or Information Electronics, or a comparable qualification in Information and Telecommunications Technology.
Experience
- Relevant professional experience (desirable)
- At least five years of professional experience after vocational training (required for civil servant status)
- One year of professional activity must be in public service (required for civil servant status)
