Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting detailed laboratory and/or crime scene investigations, preparing expert forensic reports, and representing findings as a technical expert in court proceedings. Key requirements include a Master's degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Physics, proficiency in German (written and spoken), and the physical fitness necessary to work while wearing respiratory protection. The position offers a stable, full-time, permanent role in Munich, flexible working hours, and the opportunity to contribute to public safety in a specialized and innovative environment, requiring mandatory weekend standby duty approximately once every two months.

Education

Experience

  • Professional experience in forensic investigations (advantageous, not required)
  • Experience in fire dynamics and fire cause investigation (advantageous, not required)
  • Experience in volunteer work with a fire department (advantageous, not required)
