Job Summary

This role as a Macro Strategist involves providing critical macroeconomic insights to support investment decisions within HDI AG. Day-to-day responsibilities include generating detailed macroeconomic forecasts across various countries and regions, conducting in-depth qualitative and quantitative economic research utilizing the company’s global macroeconomic model, and preparing comprehensive country and thematic analyses. A key function is covering sovereign and quasi-sovereign issuers in developed markets. The strategist will regularly create high-impact capital market reports, research documents, and presentations for internal Investment Committees and external client events. Success requires a Master’s degree in Economics or Business, excellent communication skills, and proficiency with MS Office and financial information services like Bloomberg or Macrobond. The position demands high self-initiative, curiosity to explore new methods, and close collaboration with Fixed Income teams, offering a dynamic environment for an analytically driven professional.
