Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled administrative professional to join a federal agency in the Munich Metropolitan Region, supporting the Big Data Analysis Business Unit. The successful candidate will serve as the personal assistant to the Head of the Business Unit, handling crucial administrative tasks, including managing correspondence, coordinating appointments, and organizing business trips and events. Key responsibilities also involve managing the central mailbox, distributing external inquiries, ensuring timely responses, and preparing meeting documentation and minutes. The role requires a completed vocational training in office management or administration, coupled with a minimum of two years of professional experience in an assistant or front-office capacity. Fluency in German is a mandatory requirement, alongside strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. This position offers a stable, full-time, or part-time contract within a flexible, award-winning work environment.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an Office Management Clerk or Administrative Specialist, or comparable qualification with at least a good examination result.

Experience

  • At least two years of professional experience in administrative assistance or front-office roles (Vorzimmerkraft)
  • Experience with governmental processes and workflows (advantageous)
  • Experience in a technical environment, preferably in Information Technology (advantageous)
  • Experience using Atlassian Confluence (advantageous)
