Job Summary

This role is central to Ottobock's strategic goal of becoming a data-driven enterprise, working within the Advanced Analytics & Data Insights team of Global IT. The Data Engineer will collaborate closely with cross-functional Data Product Teams, including Business Data Owners, Analysts, and Data Scientists, to implement robust data-based solutions. Key responsibilities involve developing modern data pipelines using tools like Azure Data Factory and Databricks, integrating new internal and external data sources into the Azure Data Lake, and optimizing pipeline performance. The ideal candidate must possess a Master's degree in Computer Science or a quantitative field, coupled with at least five years of professional experience using the Azure Data Engineering Tech Stack or comparable cloud technologies (AWS/GCP).
