This full-time role, based in Augsburg, seeks an engaged Avionics and Electrical Systems Specialist to join a successful, 35-year-old medium-sized company specializing in aerostat construction (balloons and airships). The core responsibilities involve the hands-on manufacturing and installation of specialized cabling and electronic systems, conducting rigorous quality controls, system tests, and electrical measurements, and ensuring comprehensive technical documentation. The specialist will actively support the maintenance, repair, and new development of complex avionics systems for aerostats. A key aspect of the role involves participating in international special projects, requiring travel for on-site installation and maintenance. Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or possess a certified Technician/Master qualification in Electrical Engineering/Avionics, coupled with a strong affinity for the aviation sector. Fluency in both German and English is mandatory for success in this international and highly technical environment, along with a high degree of self-initiative and manual dexterity.

- Experience supporting R&D in electronic and avionics systems
- Experience with physical material tests (advantageous)
