Job Summary

This is a critical role for a Health & Safety Manager to lead Safety Specialists and operational paramedics, ensuring smooth, secure processes and strengthening the overall health and safety culture at a new logistics warehouse in Gießen, Germany. The successful candidate will be part of the core team launching this state-of-the-art facility, actively shaping its safety concept from the ground up. Day-to-day responsibilities include ensuring full compliance with legal requirements (occupational, fire, and environmental protection), developing emergency concepts, managing reporting systems, and collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders like authorities and the occupational physician. This position requires strong leadership, expertise in safety legislation (ASiG qualification is mandatory), and excellent communication skills in both German and English to advise management and staff effectively and drive measurable prevention goals.
