This role involves supporting Quality Management, specifically within the metrology department, by ensuring the suitability and proper calibration of measurement devices, overseeing object alignment, and managing setup procedures. The specialist will be responsible for preparing, creating, and executing complex measurement orders, primarily focusing on vehicle body assemblies across various production stages within the automotive sector. A core function includes conducting and evaluating Measurement System Analyses (MSA) and machine capability studies, utilizing specialized database software like PiWeb (Zeiss) for result evaluation and documentation. The ideal candidate possesses a completed technical qualification in metalworking or equivalent, professional experience in 3D metrology, and familiarity with CNC-guided measurement machines.
