Job Summary

This role seeks an ambitious Engineer specializing in electrical assembly and interconnection technology to drive innovation for key clients, primarily focusing on mechatronic systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include the development and optimization of electrical connection technologies, selecting appropriate materials, connectors, and contacting techniques, and creating detailed documentation such as circuit diagrams and wiring harness designs. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with development, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to ensure reliability and feasibility, conduct rigorous testing and validation, and support the industrialization and serial transfer of new products. Key qualifications include a degree in Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering, professional experience in electrical interconnection technology (ideally within the automotive, aerospace, or mechanical engineering sectors), and proficiency with relevant CAD systems and industry standards (IPC, VDE).
