Job Summary

This role involves working as a Research Associate focusing on cutting-edge FPGA Design for test and radio systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing FPGA designs using hardware description languages, creating software for integrated microcontrollers, and actively participating in research and development projects. The associate will investigate communication solutions, conceptualize innovative ideas, and engage in verification, error analysis, and documentation. A key part of the role is presenting and publishing research findings, consulting with other departments, and participating in national and international technical committees and standardization organizations. Candidates must hold a university degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, possess strong knowledge of FPGA design (preferably Xilinx) and VHDL, and be fluent in both German and English.
