Job Summary

This role is for an ambitious Electrical Design Engineer responsible for defining requirements for networked modular machinery and selecting critical electrical components for power supply, control, energy/signal distribution, and operator safety. Day-to-day tasks involve managing data within Solid Works Electrical and Siemens Teamcenter, ensuring compliance with international electrical safety standards (especially IEC/UL61010), and supporting safety and EMC testing. The engineer will also coordinate internal/external electrical technicians, represent the Mechatronics department in cross-functional project teams, and take technical ownership across various development phases (ideation, feasibility, design control). The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, possesses at least three years of professional experience, and is proficient in both German and English, ready to drive technology forward in challenging projects.
