Job Summary

The Landkreis Lüchow-Dannenberg is seeking a dedicated Controlling Officer to join its Controlling staff unit. This role is crucial for supporting the county's financial health and strategic goals through rigorous financial planning and analysis. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with budget and household planning, developing operational goals and key performance indicators (KPIs), implementing reporting systems, and conducting variance analyses to develop corrective action plans. The ideal candidate must possess a degree in economics or finance, or relevant administrative training, coupled with strong business administration knowledge and excellent IT skills. You will be expected to work independently and collaboratively, demonstrating high commitment and structured work habits, while also being prepared to assist in the county's disaster control staff.

Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree in economics or business administration (minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent, ideally with a focus on Finance and Controlling), OR completed training as an administrative specialist with completed Angestelltenlehrgang II, OR successfully completed Angestelltenlehrgang I and II.
