Job Summary

This role as an IT Administrator involves managing and maintaining the core IT infrastructure for an innovative client operating in the IT sector. Key daily responsibilities include the administration and upkeep of servers, networks, and databases, alongside implementing and monitoring crucial security policies and measures. The administrator will also be responsible for planning and executing system upgrades and migrations, ensuring robust data backup and recovery processes, and providing essential support and training to end-users on IT systems. The ideal candidate must possess a completed vocational qualification, such as an IT Specialist for System Integration, or a degree in Computer Science or IT Management. Required technical skills include experience with Windows Server, Linux, network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), and virtualization technologies like VMware or Hyper-V.
