Job Summary

This full-time position in Recklinghausen seeks an Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer specializing in automation and process control within the energy and process industry. The role primarily involves ensuring the functionality, quality, and reliability of critical measuring, control, and electrical systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating, maintaining, and reviewing essential technical documentation, such as functional and control diagrams, system descriptions, and instrument lists. The engineer will handle the technical design, supervision, and coordination of E&I components, including cabling and related infrastructure. A key part of the job is the technical evaluation and assessment of supplier quotes and manufacturer documentation, alongside providing crucial support during commissioning activities and participating in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT). Candidates must possess a technical degree in Electrical Engineering or Automation Technology and demonstrate fluency in both German and English, coupled with a structured, solution-oriented approach.
