Job Summary

This role seeks a dedicated PLC Programmer/Automation Engineer to join a medium-sized family company specializing in innovative packaging and automation solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities involve developing sequence programs in coordination with mechanical design and software teams, programming machine operator interfaces (HMIs), performing function tests on virtual setups, and configuring auxiliary components like cameras and drives. A critical part of the job includes on-site commissioning, final acceptance testing at customer locations (nationally and internationally), error diagnosis, and training operating personnel. The ideal candidate must possess a degree or technician qualification in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or Mechatronics, coupled with proven experience in PLC programming and good English language skills, along with a willingness to travel.
