Job Summary

This full-time, permanent position in Hamburg offers the opportunity to join a leading supplier of pharmaceutical and food raw materials within a competent Quality Assurance team, including pharmacists and chemists. The role focuses on ensuring the quality and compliance of raw materials used in critical industries. Day-to-day responsibilities involve reviewing raw material specifications, ensuring alignment with international standards (EP/USP) and EU regulations, and coordinating necessary testing with external laboratories. You will also conduct simple in-house analyses and be responsible for the final release of raw materials and suppliers. A crucial component of the job is managing quality-relevant correspondence with customers, regulatory authorities, and suppliers, necessitating professional fluency in both German and English. Furthermore, you will be instrumental in implementing EU directives, drafting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and maintaining the robust QS system, which is certified according to GMP, ISO, and FSSC standards. Success in this role requires several years of relevant professional experience gained either in the manufacturing industry or within commercial testing laboratories.
