Job Summary

This role seeks a creative and passionate Backend Engineer specializing in Python, Data, and AI to help shape the future of energy supply within the E.ON group. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and operating scalable backend services for a multi-tenant platform, ensuring robust interfaces to AI functionalities like image analysis and text recognition. Key responsibilities include developing and optimizing computer vision pipelines (Object Detection, Instance Segmentation, OCR) from data flow to monitoring, and integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) like Azure OpenAI for extraction and validation in real-world business processes. This position requires a strong background in Computer Science or a related field, extensive Python software development experience (including APIs, testing, and stable service design), and a solid understanding of ML in production environments (e.g., PyTorch/ONNX).
