Job Summary

This role seeks a skilled Measurement Technician in Bochum to take responsibility for precise 3D measurement and quality assurance within series production, focusing specifically on wheelset components. Daily tasks involve evaluating 3D measurements, performing initial part approvals for serial manufacturing, and conducting First Article Inspections (FAI’s). The successful candidate will primarily operate the Zeiss 3-D measuring machine. Key qualifications include formal training as a Machining Mechanic, ideally supplemented by a Technician qualification, and the ability to measure with micron (μm) accuracy. Essential technical skills include experience handling fine measuring instruments and proficiency with Calypso software, alongside basic SAP knowledge (inventory, drawings). This is a full-time, permanent position offering competitive compensation and the chance for direct takeover by the client.
