Job Summary

This permanent, full-time role based in Herne seeks a skilled Measurement Technician specializing in 3D metrology for wheelset components. The core responsibilities involve evaluating detailed 3D measurements, conducting First Article Inspections (FAIs), and granting initial part releases necessary for seamless series production. Candidates must possess training as a Cutting Machine Operator, ideally supplemented by a Technician qualification, and demonstrate the crucial ability to measure accurately in micrometers. Proficiency in operating the Zeiss 3D measuring machine and utilizing specialized software like Calypso is essential. Basic knowledge of SAP for handling stock levels and manufacturing information is also required.
