Job Summary

This Senior Application Expert role focuses on shaping and advancing the future Business Intelligence (BI) architecture, leveraging modern technologies like Fabric, Databricks, or SAP BDC. The successful candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing and maintaining a central Enterprise Data Warehouse or Lakehouse, ensuring it acts as the Single Point of Truth for reporting, planning, analytics, and future AI initiatives. Key responsibilities include leading strategic BI projects from requirements gathering to implementation, acting as the Solution Owner for BI systems, and driving the stable operation and continuous development of the BI landscape, including 1st and 2nd-level support. The position requires deep expertise in data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and integrating data from various sources, particularly SAP S/4HANA. The role is highly collaborative, involving the enablement of an interdisciplinary BI team and fostering a data-driven culture through training and best practices for self-service analytics. Strong analytical skills and fluency in both German and English are essential for success.
