Job Summary
This role is a central link between environmental stewardship and corporate operations for a fifth-generation family business specializing in sustainable concrete systems. The Environmental and Project Manager will act as the key technical contact for all environmental and sustainability topics, driving internal processes aimed at continuously reducing the company's CO₂ footprint. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing the current ecological status, initiating and managing sustainable projects across all business units (acting as the Energy Management Officer), developing measures to enhance energy efficiency, and conducting life cycle assessments (Ökobilanzierung). The ideal candidate brings a high degree of initiative, expertise in energy/resource management or relevant professional experience, and a passion for climate and environmental protection, actively shaping the company's goal to become a 'green pioneer' in the stone industry.
Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Energy and Resource Management or equivalent field
Experience
- Professional experience as a Climate, Environmental, or Energy Optimizer (or equivalent)
- Experience in developing and realizing measures to increase energy efficiency
- Experience in implementing environmental and climate protection projects
