This role involves serving as an Electrical Design Engineer specializing in complex machine tool construction. Key day-to-day responsibilities include the electrical design of control cabinets for sophisticated machine tools, translating customer requirements into design specifications, selecting appropriate electrical components (such as relays, switches, and connectors), and generating essential documentation like circuit diagrams, terminal plans, wiring lists, and device plans. Candidates must possess a degree in Electrical Engineering or a qualification as a certified Electrical Engineering Technician, coupled with initial or several years of experience using modern CAE tools like EPlan or E3.
