Job Summary

This role is seeking an ambitious Electrical Engineering Master Technician or Engineer to join MITNETZ STROM, a major regional distribution network operator in Eastern Germany, focusing on securing the electricity supply and preparing the grid for the energy future. The successful candidate will be responsible for the control and remote control technology within substations and network stations, working both on-site at the facilities and from the office. Day-to-day tasks include parametrizing and commissioning modern control and remote control systems, performing maintenance, troubleshooting faults, and actively participating in commissioning tests for new systems. This position is critical to the corporate strategy of achieving visibility and controllability across the network, directly contributing to improved grid availability and managing challenges posed by decentralized feeders, charging infrastructure, and heat pumps. Candidates should possess a completed qualification as an Electrical Engineering Technician or Master Technician, technical expertise, and foundational commercial knowledge.
