This role is a critical position within the joint IT Service Center supporting three major Berlin art and music universities, focusing specifically on managing and maintaining Linux systems across five locations. The specialist will serve as the primary contact for all Linux-related issues, handling installation, configuration, and maintenance of Linux hardware and software, including specialized and peripheral devices. Key responsibilities include providing and implementing associated services like eduroam, certificates, and Ansible, as well as executing complex fault diagnosis and resolution. Candidates should be experienced Linux specialists with a strong background in project work, eager to contribute to the digital future in a creative, agile university environment. This position offers a full-time, permanent contract and requires strong teamwork and technical documentation skills.
