Job Summary

This role is for an experienced Senior Tax Manager/Certified Tax Consultant based in Munich, focusing on providing comprehensive tax advice to national and international mid-sized companies. Day-to-day responsibilities include consulting on all tax matters, preparing expert opinions, conducting tax due diligence, and structuring/restructuring service relationships. The role also involves reviewing tax returns, supporting clients during tax audits and special examinations, and coordinating projects within the global Nexia network. Key qualifications include obtaining the German Certified Tax Consultant (Steuerberater) qualification or a comparable legal degree, possessing several years of relevant professional experience, and demonstrating strong expertise in corporate income tax, VAT, payroll tax, double taxation treaties, and the taxation of corporations and partnerships.
