Chemical Laboratory Technician | Chemielaborant (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This role involves essential laboratory work focusing on the analysis of solid and water samples at the Karlsruhe site. The Chemical Laboratory Technician will be responsible for the independent sampling of various materials, including fly ash, water, and gypsum. Day-to-day tasks include performing detailed analysis using specialized equipment such as sieve machines, laser granulometers, ion chromatographs, and standard wet chemical methods. A key responsibility is conducting accredited moisture determinations of coal samples, including sample preparation and quality assurance measures compliant with accreditation standards. Candidates must hold a completed apprenticeship as a Chemical Laboratory Technician or equivalent qualification (e.g., CTA) and possess a meticulous, independent work ethic. Experience in the specified analytical tasks and working with a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) is highly desirable, offering a great entry point into international corporate environments.
