Job Summary

This role offers an exciting opportunity as a Network Technician at a major gearbox manufacturer in Bruchsal, initially through temporary employment with the option for permanent takeover. The core responsibilities involve comprehensive physical network infrastructure management, including cabling new workstations, laying network cables, patching, and ensuring continuous functionality across all workplaces. Additionally, the technician will manage telecommunications tasks such as assigning phone numbers, configuring and connecting desk phones/softphones, and setting up door intercom systems. A key aspect of the job is the installation and maintenance of time and access control components, including card readers and clocking systems, along with prompt troubleshooting of network and access component malfunctions. This position is ideal for candidates with a background in low-voltage electrical systems or IT system electronics who possess a Class B driving license and relevant technical expertise.
