Job Summary

This role requires a dedicated Site and Test Field Engineer specializing in Network Technology to ensure the technically flawless, timely, and economical commissioning of High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) systems globally. Day-to-day tasks involve taking responsibility for commissioning and managing data networks, individual components of network communication, and the TCP/IP-based network infrastructure. You will also manage the HMI concept, time synchronization, and local/remote signal converters, acting as a crucial interface to signal suppliers. A key component of the role is supporting other commissioning teams, customers, and external partners in troubleshooting communication interfaces and assisting the Commissioning Management with Quality, Risk, and Claim Management. Candidates must possess a degree or professional training in Electrical or Information Technology, extensive knowledge of network administration (Switches, Routers), and basic knowledge of HMI, network security, and electrical systems.
