Job Summary
This role is a critical leadership position based in Freiburg-Munzingen, Germany, focusing on driving the KNF Group's transition into a Data & AI Driven Company across 24 international locations. The Team Leader will provide both technical and disciplinary leadership for the BI & Analytics team, overseeing specialists in Data Warehouse, PowerBI, and Data/IoT/AI. Key responsibilities include conceptual oversight for the expansion and secure operation of the existing Snowflake/Azure DWH and PowerBI environment, and the Data/IoT/AI platform. You will translate business requirements from various departments into robust technical solutions and actively promote a Data & AI Driven Culture by integrating the latest technologies. Success in this role requires strong leadership experience, deep technical knowledge of DWH architectures, PowerBI (Fabric), Azure Stack, and excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with international colleagues and external service providers.
Required Skills
Education
University degree in Data Science, Business Informatics, Computer Science, or a comparable field of study
Experience
- Leadership experience as a Team Leader or in a similar management role
- Professional experience in conceiving and implementing IoT, Big Data, and AI technologies
- Experience with Snowflake/Azure DWH environments
- Experience in managing external service providers
