Day-to-day responsibilities include independently monitoring and managing complex high- and medium-voltage networks, coordinating switching operations for maintenance and construction, and autonomously managing responses during network faults, including dispatching internal and external teams. The engineer will ensure a secure power supply despite changing load flows due to decentralized renewable energy integration. Key qualifications include a degree in Electrical Engineering, readiness for shift work (including potential night/weekend coverage), and initial experience with network control and calculation systems.
