Job Summary

This role as a Commissioning Engineer involves the critical task of bringing complex electrical and automated systems to life, both internally and at customer sites globally. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing factory acceptance tests, executing online and physical commissioning, and ensuring strict adherence to quality and budget standards. A significant part of the role is customer-facing, requiring you to coordinate with clients and external trades, conduct comprehensive customer training sessions on new equipment, and provide essential After-Sales support, including maintenance and process training. The ideal candidate must possess a strong background in electronics or mechatronics, preferably qualified as a Technician or Master Craftsman. This position requires a high willingness to travel nationally and internationally, excellent communication skills in English, and the flexibility to handle occasional on-call duties during weekends and holidays, ensuring operational continuity for key clients.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training in electronics or mechatronics, supplemented by further qualification as a Technician or Master Craftsman.

Experience

  • Professional experience in plant commissioning and factory acceptance
  • Experience in customer coordination and external trade management
  • Experience with documentation of commissioning protocols and service reports
  • Experience in conducting customer training sessions for new systems
