Job Summary

This role involves supporting a client specializing in the development and manufacturing of labeling systems, focusing on the full project lifecycle from planning through commissioning. The Automation Engineer will be responsible for creating, revising, and adapting PLC programs, specifically within the Siemens environment. Key daily tasks include programming PLC systems, modifying and redesigning visualizations using tools like WinCC or TIA Portal, managing test runs, and troubleshooting automation and control systems independently. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering or Automation Technology, or an equivalent technical qualification, coupled with initial professional experience or strong foundational knowledge in PLC programming, particularly with Siemens systems. This position offers the opportunity to take technical responsibility for automation projects, contribute ideas, and work within multidisciplinary teams, with minimal domestic travel required.
