Job Summary
This role seeks an ambitious Theoretical Physicist to drive innovation by modeling, simulating, and evaluating the physical-optical properties of lithography lenses for a key client. Day-to-day responsibilities include handling complex models, systematically analyzing and interpreting measurement data, and creating detailed component specifications, often requiring negotiation with internal and external partners. A crucial part of the job involves presenting and documenting development results and actively contributing to the advancement of simulation and analysis software. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Physics (preferably a Ph.D.), possesses knowledge of physical/technical optics, and is proficient in Python, ideally with experience in software development. This position offers exciting projects, an open-ended contract, and high flexibility through mobile working options, making it an attractive opportunity for experts ready to tackle the challenges of tomorrow’s technology.
Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Physics (Ph.D. preferred) or comparable qualification
Experience
- Professional experience in modeling and simulation of physical-optical properties
- Experience in systematic evaluation and interpretation of measurement data
- Experience in creating component specifications and negotiating with partners
- Experience in software development (analysis and simulation software) is desirable
