Job Summary
This role is for an ambitious Research Associate specializing in Optical Technology, focusing on the development and implementation of innovative optical processes. Key responsibilities include advancing new optical processes across various materials and ensuring their successful transition into series production while maintaining high product quality. The associate will be responsible for documenting, communicating, and presenting project results to internal and external stakeholders. Collaboration is central to the role, requiring coordination with internal teams, external experts, and national/international institutes, as well as qualifying and coordinating suppliers to optimize process flows. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Physics or Engineering (a PhD is desirable) and possesses experience in developing optical processing techniques, coupled with strong communication and teamwork skills. Good proficiency in written and spoken English is required for this challenging and collaborative position.
