Job Summary
This role involves developing concepts and components for high-voltage and low-voltage electrical systems (Bordnetze) within new vehicle electrical architectures. Key responsibilities include evaluating concept alternatives with interface partners, systematically identifying failure points in wiring harnesses, and managing requirements using DOORS. The engineer will also oversee the launch of different construction stages on-site at customer locations, perform detailed fault analyses, and propose optimizations related to packaging, cost savings, and ergonomics. This position requires a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Vehicle Technology, or equivalent technical certification, coupled with practical experience in automotive electrical system development and proficiency with tools like Siemens NX and e³ Series. Strong communication skills and fluency in both German and English are essential for presenting results internally and externally.
