Job Summary
This role is ideal for an ambitious Electrical Engineering professional looking to drive technological advancements within the maritime sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for the comprehensive project management of new shipbuilding projects, ensuring adherence to strict cost, schedule, and quality standards. Daily tasks include drafting detailed technical specifications, coordinating engineering activities, and collaborating closely with the Research and Development department. A key aspect of the role involves managing supplier relationships, including selection and leadership, and overseeing the construction phase right through to commissioning and final handover to the client. Candidates must possess a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, coupled with professional experience in electrical engineering, preferably within shipbuilding, and excellent proficiency in both German and English.
Required Skills
Education
Completed university degree (Bachelor, Master, Diploma) in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechatronic Systems, or a comparable qualification
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in electrical engineering
- Professional experience in shipbuilding (preferred)
- Initial experience in project execution (advantageous)
