Job Summary
Join the University of Saarland's central Triathlon facility to drive the IMPULS 2.0 early-stage program, focusing specifically on technology-oriented and IT-based startups. This role involves serving as a key link between research, innovation, and startup development. Day-to-day responsibilities include providing individual startup consulting and coaching, analyzing technical concepts, and helping founders build viable IT and software business models. You will guide Minimum Viable Product (MVP) development, conduct market tests, and design and deliver workshops on idea generation and business model development. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of current IT trends (e.g., AI, Cybersecurity, Data-driven Solutions) and experience applying innovation methodologies like Lean Startup and Design Thinking, making this a crucial role in fostering the next generation of tech entrepreneurs.
Required Skills
Education
University degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Engineering, or a comparable field
Experience
- Experience in startup consulting, innovation management, or own founding activity
- Own founding experience (including as a team member) or startup consulting experience
Languages

- The position is temporary (2 years). Only applicants who have never been employed by the University of Saarland can be considered. Flexibility to participate in evening events is required.
