Job Summary

This role is critical for ensuring the economic viability and professional execution of security technology projects within a long-established group specializing in safety and telecommunications. The Technical Estimator will be responsible for preparing detailed calculations and offers for systems like fire alarms, intrusion detection, access control, video surveillance, and voice alarm systems. Daily tasks involve analyzing technical specifications, drawings, and project documentation to accurately determine material, labor, and equipment costs. A key focus is optimizing cost structures, evaluating subcontractor bids, and collaborating closely with sales, project management, and technical teams to ensure timely and precise quotation submissions. The ideal candidate holds a technical degree or equivalent qualification (e.g., in Electrical Engineering or Construction) and possesses proven experience in technical project estimation, ideally within the security technology sector.
