Job Summary

This role, based in Wolfertschwenden, Germany, is within the G&N Group, a specialist in security and telecommunications technology. The Service Technician will be responsible for the comprehensive installation, maintenance, and servicing of various security systems, ensuring reliable functionality from initial setup through long-term support. Key daily tasks include the independent mounting, programming, and commissioning of intrusion alarm systems (EMA), fire alarm systems (BMA), access control, video surveillance, and voice alarm systems (SAA). The position requires meticulous documentation according to QM standards, conducting measurements and tests compliant with relevant DIN VDE and EN norms, and performing troubleshooting on existing installations. Success in this role requires strong customer communication, providing on-site or remote instruction and support, and close collaboration with the Project Manager on customer feedback and billing. The technician must also be willing to participate in an on-call duty rotation.
