This role is for an Electronics Technician specializing in communications and security technology, focusing on the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of advanced electrical and security systems within buildings. Day-to-day tasks involve independently commissioning and servicing fire alarm systems (specifically Esser and Hekatron) and intrusion detection systems (Honeywell), performing modifications on existing electrical systems, and collaborating closely with construction managers or working autonomously on regional construction sites. The ideal candidate holds a completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician for Energy and Building Technology or equivalent, ideally with initial experience in commissioning and maintaining fire and intrusion detection systems.
