Job Summary
This role involves leading an application development team, both technically and personally, within the Data Center of the German Pension Insurance (DSRV). The Team Lead will be responsible for managing team and employee development, fostering a high level of service, and actively shaping and controlling assigned tasks, particularly those related to pension insurance and rehabilitation procedures. A key focus is guiding the team through the transformation towards agile methodologies and representing the team in cross-departmental IT projects. Candidates must possess a university degree in IT or equivalent qualifications, coupled with several years of relevant professional experience in IT, including knowledge of specific programming languages (like Java), development tools (like Rational Application Developer), and relational databases (such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or DB2). This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced IT professional looking to step into a leadership role focused on critical data exchange procedures and modernizing application development practices.
Required Skills
Education
Completed university degree (Bachelor, Diploma/FH) in the IT field, or an equivalent qualification based on IT-specific training or completed vocational training in the IT field.
Experience
- Several years of current, relevant professional experience in IT
- Professional experience with required programming languages (e.g., Java)
- Professional experience with development tools (e.g., Rational Application Developer)
- Professional experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL, DB2)
- Initial experience in agile working methods
- Ideally, initial experience in technical leadership of teams and/or project groups

- Must be willing to undergo a security clearance check (§ 9 SÜG). Requires willingness for occasional business trips and participation in training/events outside the Würzburg location. Position is considered sensitive to corruption, requiring high reliability and integrity.
