Job Summary

This role seeks two experienced university graduates to join the State Audit Office of North Rhine-Westphalia as Auditors with special responsibilities, focusing on financial control and policy development. Day-to-day tasks involve preparing and conducting audits for various state bodies, including the State Parliament administration and the Constitutional Court. You will analyze results, develop solutions and improvements, and draft audit reports. A key component of the role is actively contributing to the State Audit Office's opinions on current economic and legal projects, engaging directly with the state government and parliament. Candidates must hold a Master's degree (preferably in economics, law, or administrative sciences) with a grade of 'good' or better, or have passed both state law examinations with 'satisfactory' or better. At least three years of professional experience in a role equivalent to the higher civil service is mandatory, ideally within public administration, higher education, auditing, or consulting, coupled with a structured, scientific approach to work.
