Job Summary

The IT Operations Specialist will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing the core IT infrastructure of a premium spirits company. Key daily responsibilities include comprehensive infrastructure management, covering networks, servers, cloud environments, and data centers. The role involves proactive system monitoring, incident management, and rapid resolution of issues to ensure high availability. Furthermore, the specialist will execute essential service provisioning tasks such as performing backups, managing updates, implementing patch management, and configuring systems. A strong focus is placed on security and compliance, requiring the implementation of security measures, access controls, and robust disaster recovery planning. Candidates must hold a completed IT apprenticeship or university degree in the IT field, coupled with several years of experience in system administration. Success in this role requires deep knowledge of Windows Servers, networking, virtualization, firewall management, and IT security concepts, along with a structured, independent, and team-oriented approach.
